From Edesia’s factory, pallets are shipped by ocean directly to our prepositioning warehouse in Tema, Ghana where they remain close by for when an urgent need arises. From there, they make another short trip by ocean to the port of Douala, Cameroon, which takes only a few days. From Douala, the containers are trucked inland across Chad’s border until they reach the capital city of N’Djamena. Here, they await final clearance to enter Sudan. Once ready, the containers are broken down into smaller truckloads and travel in a convoy into Sudan and finally reach West Darfur.
