Michael
Cole

Michael is an accomplished investor and leader of significant change in large organizations. For much of 2025, he served as Senior Team Leader for Government Efficiency in the US Department of Agriculture. His previous experience includes serving as Co-Founder & CEO of Shareholder Capital LLC, a private investment firm focused on transformative investments in life sciences and health care; and as President & Chief Financial Officer of eMed LLC, a Miami-based digital healthcare platform he helped grow from less than $50mm of annual revenue to over $300mm of highly profitable revenue. He also founded and led SevenSaoi Capital, a small-cap public equity investment firm, and served as Co-Chief Restructuring Officer of RadioShack, leading the company's emergence from bankruptcy while preserving 9,500 American jobs.

From 1997 to 2014, Michael held positions of increasing responsibility with Madison Dearborn Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm that grew from $1bn to over $17bn in equity capital during his tenure. He retired as a Managing Director after leading or working on investments in 14 companies in healthcare, technology, and communications — including Intelsat, MetroPCS (now T-Mobile), Univision Communications, and XM Satellite Radio — and has served as a board member or observer of 17 public and private companies.

Michael currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Big Shoulders Fund and Edesia Nutrition. He is a 2011 Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and holds an A.B. in government, with honors, from Harvard College.

Andrew K. Kamara

Andrew Kamara is the Vice President of Global Operations at Edesia. In this role, he leads the organization’s manufacturing and operational efforts, overseeing production, quality, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management at Edesia’s Rhode Island facility. He also plays a key role in driving global expansion initiatives related to Last Mile delivery and impact.

Since joining Edesia in 2009, Andrew has held a variety of roles across the organization, contributing to its growth and operational excellence.

Before Edesia, Andrew spent two years at Coca-Cola Enterprises as a mid-level Distribution Resource, managing delivery, storage, and distribution operations for a broad portfolio of bottled beverages. He also worked for six years at United Natural Foods, serving as both a Quality Assurance Specialist and a Supervisor in grocery and repackaging operations.

Andrew holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Connecticut and an Advanced Diploma in Electronics from NIIT in Accra, Ghana.
