Children Can't Wait

This year began with stop work orders, the dismantling of USAID, our factory floor quiet, thousands of boxes stuck in warehouses, and millions of children at risk of starvation.

After the initial shock, we began to fight, and launched our Children Can’t Wait campaign. Thousands of donors stood with us, turning generosity into survival.

We found new partners, built coalitions, and delivered our life-saving food to the last mile.

So Many Children Are Still Waiting

We’ve raised $4.1 million since March and helped save 219,135 lives. Now, our goal is to raise $1 million in December to save an additional 20,000+ children.

We must keep fighting for the world’s most vulnerable. We must keep taking action.

Our humanitarian aid partners on the ground are requesting urgent support to meet the critical nutritional needs of children in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chad, Nigeria, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, and Uganda.

Where Do We Start?

With you. With one life, one box, one pallet, one hour, one shift, one truckload at a time.

With your help, we will continue to deliver life-saving Plumpy’Nut to children who truly can’t wait.
Just $50 provides a full treatment – one box of Plumpy’Nut – and saves the life of one child.

Every dollar you contribute keeps the production lines running, the shipments moving, and children alive.

Take Action Today

  • $50 = 1 Box = 1 child saved
  • $4,500 = 1 Pallet = 90 children saved
  • $20,750 = 1 Hour of Production = 415 children saved
  • $85,000 = 1 Truckload of Plumpy'Nut = 1710 children saved
  • $166,000 = 1 Eight Hour Shift of Production = 3329 children saved

One Story. One Life. One Carton of Plumpy’Nut at a Time.

In Somalia, where droughts, inflation, and conflict have fueled one of the highest rates of acute malnutrition, 2-year-old Ruman from Jowhar was among the children suffering. Her mother, Nimco, struggled to feed her family of five, often going without meals on the hardest days. When Ruman’s health rapidly declined with weight loss, lethargy, and irritability, her mother sought help. The International Medical Corps diagnosed her with life-threatening severe acute malnutrition. Ruman was prescribed Edesia’s Plumpy’Nut, provided through contributions to Edesia, and her condition improved within weeks. Hope was back into their lives.
